Inspired by my husband who has been cultivating a wildflower verge along our farm's boundary to bring happiness to passersby. I felt compelled to design a rug. but was quite hesitant to begin with as this was Mother Nature at her best but once I got started drawing my Impressionist design took shape. Taking the photos was intoxicating. I couldn't believe how many insects were enjoying them and the low hum of the Bees was hypnotic.
