As you may know, we live on a farm and I keep a few chickens. I love my girls, especially the eggs they provide us with! They all have names and are much loved. We don't however have a Cockerel as they are not essential to egg production but are so beautiful, hence this rug design. It has a pretty border with Sunflowers and Butterflies, ladybird, Bee and a snail.
